DEATHHAMMER "Phantom Knights" CD (Brew030)
Die unheimlichen kalten Todeswinde ("Cold Winds Of Death") heulen und wie Phantome erscheinen die gepanzerten Mörder ("Armoured Assassins") aus dem Norden um Europa noch einmal heimzusuchen und zu plündern. EVIL SHEPHERD "Sowing Death" CD (BREW029)
Nehmt euch in Acht vor den satanischen Angriffen ("Satanic Attack") des EVIL SHEPHERD, der in den Gassen Belgiens seinem Lieblingssport, der Priesterjagd ("Priesthunt") nachgeht. Der Soundtrack zu diesem blutigen Spass ist so sehr an alte SLAYER angelehnt, daß man meinen könnte, die Jungs sind das Ergebnis gewisser Backstage "Aktivitäten" nach der legendären SLAYER Show in Poperinge. Und die Jungs sind auch in der Lage Heavy Metal Teile in ihren Thrash Zyklon zu werfen so daß auf diesem Album jeder eine Bombenstimmung erwarten kann. Alle außer Priestern. Wird Ende Juli 2010 veröffentlicht.

MECHANIX "Sonic Point Blank" CD (BREW028)
Man könnte jetzt einfach sagen, "Das ist das beste MEGADETH Album seit 'Rust In Piece'", aber man würde den Jungs aus Nürnberg Unrecht tun. Klar, eine Band die sich MECHANIX nennt versucht erst gar nicht ihre Inspiration zu verbergen, aber Songs wie "My Style" oder "Collateral Damage" gehen meilenweit über simples Klonen hinaus und heben einfach den Staffelstab da wieder auf, wo der orginale Künstler das Ding schon vor 20 Jahren verloren hat. Veröffentlicht im Juni 2010.

HORRIFIER "Grim Fate" CD (BREW027)
Als die 80er gerade dabei waren, ihr Leben auszuhauchen und die meisten Leute in Richtung Death Metal oder Grunge abgewandert sind oder ganz aufgehört haben, Musik zu hören, gab es noch ein paar Widerstandsnester. Bands wie ARCANE, KINETIC DISSENT, ICED EARTH, BLACKKOUT oder BITTER END haben versucht die Lücke zu füllen, die ihre Vorgänger hinterlassen haben, und obwohl sich heute fast kein Mensch mehr erinnert hatten diese Bands nicht weniger Talent und verdienen auch heute noch Beachtung. HORRIFIER aus New Jersey folgen dieser Tradition ganz offensichtlich, wie großartige, zwischen Speed, Power und Thrash Metal pendelnde Songs wie "Premonition" oder "(Exordium) From Beyond The Grave" (mit einem Gastauftritt von ICED EARTH SChlagzeuger Greg Seymour) deutlich zeigen. SCYTHE "Season Of The Tall Pines" CD (BREW026)
Einmal mehr überschreiten SCYTHE die Grenzen zwischen Death Metal und Space Rock und verzaubern ihre Hörer mit Songs wie "Dance In The Autumn Breeze" und "The Space We Left Behind"das so sehr nach HAWKWIND klingt, daß es eigentlich schon fast verpflichtend sein sollte, sich Einen anzuzünden bevor man die "Start" Taste drückt. TORTURE PULSE "Plague Poetry" CD (BREW025)
Schiffbruch auf der Insel der Gräber (= "Graveyard Island" ) und der Schrecken namens TORTURE PULSE erwacht... Heraufbeschworen aus einer fernen Vergangenheit, als Death Metal noch tot war, komisch roch und voll morbider Melodie und vor allem noch Metal war und gefüttert mit einer Mischung aus (alten) VITAL REMAINS und NIHILIST (ENTOMBED für die zu spät Geborenen...) setzt sich diese finnische Death Metal Maschine knirschend und alles zermalmend in Bewegung auf ihrem Weg zur sicheren Vernichtung. Jetzt oder nie ! Noch 3 Tage für den EVIL SHEPHERD !
Nachdem WITCHES BREW dieses Jahr CDs im Tempo einer Zwillingsflak rausballern komme ich mit dem Übersetzen hinten und vorne nicht mit. Da es aber möglicherweise Interessenten für das EVIL SHEPHERD Shirt gibt, möchte Ich euch die Nachricht natürlich nicht vorenthalten. The soundtrack to this bloody amusement is so close to old SLAYER that one might assume that these guys were fathered backstage after the legendary SLAYER show in Poperinge. Throwing a fistbanging Heavy Metal part into the thrashing cyclone is not beyond the EVIL SHEPHERD, so expect a splendid raging time with this album. Unless you're a priest. MECHANIX "Sonic Point Blank" CD (BREW028)
One could just state that "this is the best MEGADETH album since "Rust In Piece"" but would not do these guys from Nürnberg any justice. Clearly, a band called MECHANIX doesn't even try to hide their inspiration yet songs like 'My Style' or 'Collateral Damage' go far beyond mere cloning and simply pick up where the original artist lost it almost 20 years ago. Released in June 2010.

As the 80s were drawing their last breath and most people had moved on to Death Metal, Grunge or left altogether, small pockets of resistance remained. Bands like ARCANE, KINETIC DISSENT, ICED EARTH, BLACKKOUT or BITTER END were trying to fill the void left by their forebearers and though most of them are forgotten today, they did not have any less talent and deserve to be remembered. Alternating between the realms of Speed, Power and Thrash Metal, New Jersey's own HORRIFIER follow these traditions on their debut full length, as great songs like 'Premonition' or 'Exordium / From Beyond The Grave' (featuring a guest appearance by ICED EARTH drummer Greg Seymour) clearly show. Neues bezüglich der COUNTESS - WARHORDE Bestellungen
1) Die Shirts sind da. Ich habe sie noch nicht in Händen aber sie sind auf der Post und ich hole sie heute (20. April) nach der Arbeit ab.
2) Die CDs sind fertig und wurden von meinem US Kontakt auch schon weitergeschickt. Wegen des Vulkans in Island ist der europäische Luftraum zur Zeit sowohl für Passagier als auch für Frachtflüge gesperrt. Wegen des Vulkans in Island ist der europäische Luftraum zur Zeit sowohl für Passagier als auch für Frachtflüge gesperrt.
