MECHANIX "Sonic Point Blank" CD (BREW028)
Man könnte jetzt einfach sagen, "Das ist das beste MEGADETH Album seit 'Rust In Piece'", aber man würde den Jungs aus Nürnberg Unrecht tun. Klar, eine Band die sich MECHANIX nennt versucht erst gar nicht ihre Inspiration zu verbergen, aber Songs wie "My Style" oder "Collateral Damage" gehen meilenweit über simples Klonen hinaus und heben einfach den Staffelstab da wieder auf, wo der orginale Künstler das Ding schon vor 20 Jahren verloren hat. Veröffentlicht im Juni 2010.

HORRIFIER "Grim Fate" CD (BREW027)
Als die 80er gerade dabei waren, ihr Leben auszuhauchen und die meisten Leute in Richtung Death Metal oder Grunge abgewandert sind oder ganz aufgehört haben, Musik zu hören, gab es noch ein paar Widerstandsnester. Bands wie ARCANE, KINETIC DISSENT, ICED EARTH, BLACKKOUT oder BITTER END haben versucht die Lücke zu füllen, die ihre Vorgänger hinterlassen haben, und obwohl sich heute fast kein Mensch mehr erinnert hatten diese Bands nicht weniger Talent und verdienen auch heute noch Beachtung. HORRIFIER aus New Jersey folgen dieser Tradition ganz offensichtlich, wie großartige, zwischen Speed, Power und Thrash Metal pendelnde Songs wie "Premonition" oder "(Exordium) From Beyond The Grave" (mit einem Gastauftritt von ICED EARTH SChlagzeuger Greg Seymour) deutlich zeigen. Einmal mehr überschreiten SCYTHE die Grenzen zwischen Death Metal und Space Rock und verzaubern ihre Hörer mit Songs wie "Dance In The Autumn Breeze" und "The Space We Left Behind"das so sehr nach HAWKWIND klingt, daß es eigentlich schon fast verpflichtend sein sollte, sich Einen anzuzünden bevor man die "Start" Taste drückt. MECHANIX "Sonic Point Blank" CD (BREW028)
One could just state that "this is the best MEGADETH album since "Rust In Piece"" but would not do these guys from Nürnberg any justice. Clearly, a band called MECHANIX doesn't even try to hide their inspiration yet songs like 'My Style' or 'Collateral Damage' go far beyond mere cloning and simply pick up where the original artist lost it almost 20 years ago. Released in June 2010.

HORRIFIER "Grim Fate" CD (BREW027)
As the 80s were drawing their last breath and most people had moved on to Death Metal, Grunge or left altogether, small pockets of resistance remained. Bands like ARCANE, KINETIC DISSENT, ICED EARTH, BLACKKOUT or BITTER END were trying to fill the void left by their forebearers and though most of them are forgotten today, they did not have any less talent and deserve to be remembered. Alternating between the realms of Speed, Power and Thrash Metal, New Jersey's own HORRIFIER follow these traditions on their debut full length, as great songs like 'Premonition' or 'Exordium / From Beyond The Grave' (featuring a guest appearance by ICED EARTH drummer Greg Seymour) clearly show. Released in May 2010.

MECHANIX "Sonic Point Blank" CD (BREW028)
One could just state that "this is the best MEGADETH album since "Rust In Piece"" but would not do these guys from Nürnberg any justice. Clearly, a band called MECHANIX doesn't even try to hide their inspiration yet songs like 'My Style' or 'Collateral Damage' go far beyond mere cloning and simply pick up where the original artist lost it almost 20 years ago. Released in June 2010.

HORRIFIER "Grim Fate" CD (BREW027)
As the 80s were drawing their last breath and most people had moved on to Death Metal, Grunge or left altogether, small pockets of resistance remained. Bands like ARCANE, KINETIC DISSENT, ICED EARTH, BLACKKOUT or BITTER END were trying to fill the void left by their forebearers and though most of them are forgotten today, they did not have any less talent and deserve to be remembered. Alternating between the realms of Speed, Power and Thrash Metal, New Jersey's own HORRIFIER follow these traditions on their debut full length, as great songs like 'Premonition' or 'Exordium / From Beyond The Grave' (featuring a guest appearance by ICED EARTH drummer Greg Seymour) clearly show. Neues bezüglich der COUNTESS - WARHORDE Bestellungen

1) Die Shirts sind da. Ich habe sie noch nicht in Händen aber sie sind auf der Post und ich hole sie heute (20. April) nach der Arbeit ab.
2) Die CDs sind fertig und wurden von meinem US Kontakt auch schon weitergeschickt. Wegen des Vulkans in Island ist der europäische Luftraum zur Zeit sowohl für Passagier als auch für Frachtflüge gesperrt. Unglücklicherweise bedeutet das, dass meine CDs zur Zeit irgendwo im Transit sind und ausser nach Island schwimmen und den Vulkan auspissen kann ich im Moment nichts machen.
3) Sobald ich alles habe werden sämtliche bezahlten Vorbestellungen unverzüglich abgeschickt.

COUNTESS betreffend...

Ich habe Saevus ein paar Vorschläge geschickt die, wie ich meine, das Album (und T-Shirt) Motiv deutlich verbessern. Leider dauert es ein Weilchen, diese Ideen auch umzusetzen so daß sich die Veröffentlichung von "Burning Scripture" weiter verzögert. Wenn ich nicht der festen Überzeugung wäre, daß sich das absolut lohnt, würde ich die Verzögerung nicht akzeptieren. Seid also noch ein bißchen geduldig.
